Dear Beloved,
Greetings from rainy and vibrant Portland, OR!
As we enjoy fall treats it seemed like a perfect time to reflect on this seasonal transition in our lives. It seemed to me that this intimate list of mine could use a love letter to help you continue walking on this sometimes difficult path we call life.
My wedding on 10/14 left me feeling an abundance of love. I'd like to share some of that love with you, beloved.
My intention is to help you see the love and beauty in all beings and things those beings create.
A wise friend once told me to give from the overflowing saucer, leaving the full cup for myself. His point was to make sure that I wasn't giving from the cup where I would notice depletion. That is how I believe, resentment (maybe unconscious) can start to come in and taint the quality of love we aim to give. Little by little it grows until loving the person becomes darn near impossible.
Do you choose to check in with yourselves more often? Do you choose to be honest with yourselves about your feelings and judgement no matter what they are? Do you choose to deepen your relationship with yourself?
Do you dare to fall in love with yourself? (It might be the spookiest thing you encounter this month 💀)
